How to paste text without formatting on your Mac. When you paste this text into emails, it looks out of place. Mac users should paste the data into a new document in the TextEdit application, convert the document to plain text format, and then copy the data they want from TextEdit into the appropriate field in Colleague. While this is easy to remember and will get the desired result, it can get annoying if you regularly paste text from other sources.
